Hi Felistah,
I'm not a teenage girl but i think that this initiative is a great opportunity for young women to express themselves, to share their issues and to bond with other girls.

with the advent of technology i think teenage gals are realy getting alot of iinformation that somehow affects their issue on sexuality, many of them now than before get to indulge in early sex which is putting them at risk of contracting hiv aids

Technology is a great thing because it provides access to a lot of information and information is sorely needed by young women.

I think this blog could be both a way for young women to get information and share what's going on their lives.

Women and girls remain the most invisible members of our communities accross societies. With the hightened discussions around human rights and not a so 'sexy' debate on the issue of equality in societies, one wonders how human rights can be achieved without gender equality in the society. My honest opinion is that there is need for a paradigm shift from the patriarchal structures in place from what men would loose if gender equality was attained to what they would gain instead. on the other hand it should also be noted that women and girls continue to contribute their invisibility and hence they need to raise up and contribute to the change they want to see by growing a new generation of our society that is free from hatred of women. Keep up the good work fellista.
